How did the project come about?
There have been numerous interpretations of the Book but the majority have not been able to provide a consistent and logical explanation from the
beginning, to the end. This work provides a verse-by-verse analysis of the Bible to clarify and demystify some controversial Biblical issues and
ultimately providing a clear explanation of the Book. Each verse, right from the first verse in the first chapter of the Book of Genesis, to the last verse in the Book of Revelation, is meticulously analysed, providing a consistent flow from one verse to the next and thus providing a clearer understanding of the entire Bible.
A generally accepted concept amongst those who believe in the Bible is that there is only one God who created human beings and that these human beings are created to be equal. If that is the case, then it is natural to expect that there should be a universal set of laws guiding the behaviours and actions of man anywhere on Earth. Any law in the Bible should be applicable in any part of the world as the laws are meant to guide human activities globally and should therefore not be applied in a selective manner. This study helps to demonstrate that Biblical laws are universal in that they apply to man’s activities in the same manner anywhere on Earth.
The need to accurately interpret the
various religious books cannot be overemphasised. Inaccurate interpretation and hence misunderstanding of the various books has led to a persistent plethora of social issues all over the world. One of these numerous issues is religious intolerance and its associated
problems. In order to eradicate these problems, it is important that steps to provide accurate and concise explanations of the contents of the religious books are undertaken. This will facilitate rational understanding and assimilation of the books, prevent unnecessary brain washing and enhance tolerance.
Exposing readers to accurate interpretation of the religious books would facilitate the making of informed and objective decisions on issues bordering on religion, thus representing a veritable alternative strategy to addressing the various problems associated with misunderstanding, misinterpretation and misapplication of religious books.
